Snitchboard Download on the App Store

See which apps snitch on you.

Your iPhone already records which apps contact trackers. Snitchboard makes it readable, tells you what to switch off, and never sends your data anywhere.

See which apps snitch

The apps that contacted the most known trackers, at a glance, with the companies that own them.

  • Tracker domains grouped by company
  • Every domain an app contacted, with first and last contact
  • When each app used your location, camera and microphone, with night-time use highlighted

Know what to switch off

Tips built from your own report, such as an app that used your location at 3 a.m.

  • Numbered steps for the Settings app
  • Each step says what it does, and what it doesn't
A Snitchboard tip with three numbered steps in Settings: open Tracking, turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track, then check the list.

Spot new trackers after every report

What changed shows the domains and trackers each app started or stopped contacting since your last report.

  • Import a report every week or so
  • History keeps every report you import, shown together
The What changed screen: one app started contacting a tracker and stopped contacting two domains since the last report, and another app is gone.

Request your data under GDPR, CCPA and more

Ask an app's developer for a copy of the data they hold about you. The letter is filled in with the app, its developer, the dates and the domains it contacted.

  • GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss FADP, CCPA, PIPEDA or LGPD
  • Share it as a PDF, as text or by email
  • It's a template, not legal advice

Data Not Collected. Your report never leaves your iPhone.

That is the App Store privacy label, and it is how Snitchboard is built.

Private by design

  • Your report is read on your iPhone and stays there
  • No account, no ads, no analytics, no cloud
  • App names and icons are optional. If you turn them on, Snitchboard asks Apple's App Store which app each ID belongs to. Only app IDs and your region are sent.

Questions

What is App Privacy Report?

It is a feature built into iOS that keeps a 7-day record of the websites and trackers each app contacts, and of every time an app uses your location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos. Settings shows it as long lists. Snitchboard turns it into answers.

Does Snitchboard block trackers?

No. Snitchboard blocks nothing, runs no VPN and doesn't watch your connections. It reads the report your iPhone already keeps and tells you what to switch off in Settings. Tracker flags and company names come from Apple's report.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. Your report is read on your iPhone and stays there, with no account, no ads, no analytics and no cloud. App names and icons are optional: if you turn them on, Snitchboard asks Apple's App Store which app each ID belongs to, and only app IDs and your region are sent. The App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected.

Which iPhones and iOS versions work?

Snitchboard runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later, and on iPad with iPadOS 18 or later.

Which languages does it speak?

Snitchboard is available in 19 languages.

What does the one-time unlock include?

History of every report you import, what changed since your last report, exports as PDF, CSV and JSON, and data-request letters. Your latest report is always free, in full.

How do I request my data from an app?

Open the app in Snitchboard and tap Request my data. Choose your law (GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss FADP, CCPA, PIPEDA or LGPD), and the letter is filled in for you. Share it as a PDF, as text or by email. Data-request letters are part of the one-time unlock.

Is the letter legal advice?

No. It is a template that helps you ask for your data. It is not legal advice.
